FIIs net bought Rs 1,182 crore while DIIs net bought Rs 2,493 crore on Aug 24. Both investor groups stayed active as the market saw mixed results. The Nifty 50 fell 32.95 points to close at 24,219.05. Siddhartha Khemka said, "Indian equities are expected to remain lacklustre amid mixed global cues."
