Current surge in sugar prices unjustified as availability, stocks comfortable, say ISMA, NFCSF

The Indian Sugar & Bio-energy Manufacturers Association and the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd. said on Friday that the current sugar price surge is unjustified. They confirmed stocks are comfortable to meet demand. “There is no justification for panic buying or speculative trading in the domestic sugar market.”
