Anant Raj and Orange Business signed an MoU with the Haryana government to host overseas data. This partnership aims to market the state’s cloud and data centre services to international customers. Anant Raj already committed ₹25,000 crore for infrastructure in Haryana, as the company expands its capacity across several local campuses.
The partnership will explore hosting overseas data in Haryana and marketing the state's cloud and data centre services to international customers.
Anant Raj Cloud Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Anant Raj Ltd, and Orange Business Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government to explore hosting overseas data in the state.
The agreement, signed through the Department of Industries & Commerce, will also cover the marketing of cloud and data centre services hosted in Haryana to international customers.
Under the arrangement, Anant Raj Cloud Singapore will market Ashok Cloud, Anant Raj's cloud platform, and data centre services hosted in Haryana. It will also facilitate the onboarding of overseas customers looking to host their data in the state.
Orange Business will explore working as a technology partner for data centre and cloud services, including infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) workloads and high-performance computing. Its proposed role includes technology architecture, cloud and AI hardware, and technical expertise.
The agreement comes as Anant Raj expands its planned data centre capacity in Haryana. Through its group entities, the company has committed to developing around 307 MW of IT load across its Manesar, Panchkula and Rai campuses, with further investments planned in phases, subject to demand, commercial viability and requisite approvals, according to a press release filed with the NSE.
Anant Raj currently operates data centre facilities at its Manesar and Panchkula campuses, while capacity expansion is underway. The Rai campus in Sonipat has potential capacity of around 200 MW of IT load, according to the company.
The company had signed an MoU with the Haryana government in June 2026 under the Make in Haryana event, committing ₹25,000 crore towards data centre infrastructure in the state.
Haryana has also introduced a Data Centre Policy 2026 offering incentives for data centre infrastructure development.
The company said the latest agreement expands its relationship with Orange Business, which began in 2024 with a partnership for managed cloud services in India.
