Sonam Wangchuk health update: Doctors warn of possible organ impact after formation of ketone bodies in urine

Educator Sonam Wangchuk reached the 20th day of his hunger strike on 17 July 2026. Doctors warned that his health is at a critical stage, as organ involvement is possible due to ketone bodies in his urine. Wangchuk said, "I will stay alive till July 20 at any cost."
