Singapore is turning sewage into 'liquid gold' to secure a future where water never runs dry.

Singapore turned wastewater into drinking water through its NEWater project. The system uses a deep tunnel network to move used water to plants for purification. Harry Seah, PUB's Assistant Chief Executive, said, "NEWater is a pillar of national sustainability." This clean water now meets 40% of the nation's demand.
