Sea foam may look sinister but it is mostly harmless and natural

Sea foam, often seen on Britain's coast, looks scary but is usually harmless. It's made when dead algae mix with seawater, and waves or wind create a bubbly effect. Experts say "it is a common natural phenomenon produced by a combination of algae and weather."
