SAD and Ropar MC trade allegations over pollution in Sutlej

The SAD and Ropar MC traded allegations on Saturday over untreated sewage entering the Sirhind Canal. SAD leader Daljit Singh Cheema said the pollution threatens public health and agriculture. However, Ropar MC president Inderpal Singh Raju Satyal rejected these claims, saying, "sewage from Basant Nagar was being carried through underground pipes."
