No end to woes of flood victims as rivers recede slowly

Nearly 6 lakh people in Jajpur and Kendrapada districts still face misery as floodwaters recede slowly after three weeks. Many families lost homes to the deluge and now live on roads or rooftops. “The whole village is in water. We are suffering a lot,” said resident Prasant Sahoo about the crisis.
