Model solar villages: Semi-urban hamlets in sights, rooftop panels planned for Prayagraj dist houses

The state government shortlisted 187 villages in Prayagraj district for a new solar energy pilot project. Officials said rooftop panels will provide clean, affordable power to households. "Work will begin on a priority basis in villages that demonstrate the greatest potential," said DPRO Ravi Shankar Dwivedi about the ambitious plan.
