Marlon Brando’s private island is now a 'haven' for nature, with 15,000 baby turtles hatching in a single season.
In 1966, Marlon Brando bought a private Polynesian atoll after filming 'Mutiny on the Bounty'. It is now a wildlife sanctuary where 15,614 green turtle hatchlings emerged in one season. Brando wanted the land to remain protected. Today, scientists work there to keep the local plants and animals safe.
