Maldharis draw line on solar project

On May 22, over 500 Maldharis and villagers protested a solar project in Kutch, fearing damage to fragile ecology and livelihoods. They said, "nothing would be done without taking local people into confidence." The land is vital for thousands of cattle, camels, and migratory birds, raising concerns about irreversible ecological harm and lack of consultation.
