'Hold your nerve and trust nature': birds, bats and butterflies rebound at Somerset rewilding farm
Rewilding a former dairy farm in east Somerset has seen a surge in wildlife. Bird species rose from 67 to 94, butterflies from 11 to 24, and small mammals grew. "To some extent you hold your nerve and trust nature," said Jan Stannard. The farm now hosts 15 bat species and 60 breeding bird species.
