Heatwave alert for interior parts of TN till Friday

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai issued a heatwave warning for interior Tamil Nadu till Friday. Madurai airport recorded 42.5°C on Tuesday, the highest in the country. Hill stations like Ooty and Kodaikanal also broke temperature records. VR Durai said, “weather models are picking up light rainfall activity” this weekend.
