Climate-resilient ageing: Missing dimension in climate response

HelpAge India’s study, Climate Resilient Ageing: Ensuring Care, Dignity and Agency, surveyed 2,224 older persons across 10 states. It showed that nearly four out of five respondents faced climate hazards in the last three years. Heatwaves, floods and droughts hurt their health and livelihoods, while migration puts traditional family care systems under strain.
