Avoid 'unfamiliar, unusual' fish from Nepal's flood waters, Bihar govt. advisory cautions

The Bihar government issued an advisory on September 1, 2026, warning people against eating unfamiliar fish from flood waters. Minister Nand Kishor Ram said, "People should not consume any unfamiliar or unusual fish from the flood waters of Nepal." Many residents got sick after eating fish caught near the border.
