After a 17-year 'war' over their dream ranch, this couple’s land is finally becoming a public treasure.

In 2005, Craig and Kathryn Hall bought a 2,300-acre Napa ranch for $8 million. After a 17-year battle over vineyard plans, the Land Trust of Napa County bought the land for $24 million in 2023. It is now the Osos Ridge Preserve and will open to the public in 2027.
