Yami Gautam Dhar wore an ivory-white anarkali by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her Nayyi Navelli press tour. The actor chose a floor-length outfit with gold embroidery and red accents. She kept her makeup soft and wore chandelier earrings to match the regal, traditional look for her upcoming film role.

If you're a new bride or someone looking to bask in traditional Indian fashion, Yami Gautam's look by designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is what Indian festive fashion is about

Yami Gautam's fashion choices are always modest and traditionally Indian but also very elegant. The actor has begun her press tour in the lead-up to the release of her new film, Nayyi Navelli.

For her recent look, Yami Gautam wore an anarkali fit for royalty. It was by the acclaimed designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. In her new movie, the actor plays the role of a new bride and she is taking a leaf from her character's book to tell a visual story during the press tour as well.

She wore an elegant ivory-white anarkali that was heavily embellished with intricate gold embroidery and mirror-like detailing. The long, fitted silhouette of the anarkali had a structured, floor-length appearance, with ornate floral, paisley and geometric motifs spread across the bodice, sleeves and skirt. The dense gold work gives the outfit a rich, festive finish while the white base keeps the overall look refined.

The full-sleeved blouse features a deep neckline with delicate red piping, adding a striking pop of colour to the otherwise ivory-and-gold palette. The sleeves are covered in elaborate gold embellishment, continuing the detailing seen across the rest of the outfit.

A sheer white dupatta completes the look, bordered with heavy gold embroidery and highlighted by a vivid red trim. Draped gracefully over the outfit, it adds movement while tying the contrasting red accents together.

The actor kept the rest of the look toned down to allow the outfit to shine. Yami Gautam added statement gold chandelier earrings and a delicate ring, which allowed the heavily embellished outfit to remain the focal point. Soft, voluminous waves frame the face, while warm, glowing makeup with defined eyes and a muted rosy lip complements the regal, traditional aesthetic.

While this is definitely something a new bride would wear just a few days after her marriage, this ensemble is also the epitome of festive fashion in traditional Indian clothes. Forget minimalism; Indian fashion with its heritage crafts is all about going OTT and refreshing maximalism. Overall, the ensemble combines classic Indian festive craftsmanship with a glamorous, contemporary silhouette.
