Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried recently attended the Hamptons International Film Festival in East Hampton, New York. At the event, the actress revealed that she recently passed on a show as it required her having 's*x all the time'. She clearly expressed that she doesn't wish to do such scenes no matter who it's with. "I'm uncomfortaboe with it. I'm not into it right now," she said. The actress further reflected on how her feelings about portraying onscreen love have evolved over the years.
On a panel hosted by Alec Baldwin, acording to People, Amanda opened up about passing on a project that had lots of s*x scenes. The actress stated that she doesn't want to be naked with a stranger. "Maybe if [the project] came along again [at a later point], maybe I’d be in a different space. But I don’t wanna deal with being naked with a stranger," she mentioned.
As the conversation continued, The Housemaid star revealed that an actor's job is weird and it gets weirder as they get older. The 40-year-old shared that actors have to be romantic with people that they aren't romantic with. "Sometimes it’s great. Sometimes it’s really uncomfortable."
That said, Amanda recalled how things were different earlier. Back in the day, the actress would think, "We gotta make out. Great! This is awesome. I know how to make out. And it used to be so fun. It was a non-thing. It was like I get to make out with a hot person today … And they’re paying me." The actress further added that she has kids now who pay attention to what she does. She shares daughter Nina and son Thomas with her estranged partner Thomas Sadoski.
Moving on, Amanda shared an incident when she was walking across the street with her daughter Nina. A person asked the actress for a picture. However, she looked at her daughter and told the person, "I'm sorry". Later, when Amanda asked Nina what she though about it, the little one said, "I'm very proud of you mama."
A similar thing happened when Amanda went to a coffee shop with her daughter. The actress refused to get clicked when a coffee shop barista asked her for a photo. And the actress' daughter was proud of her mother for saying no.
