Salman Khan, who is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, launched his own YouTube channel on October 9. He made the announcement through Instagram Stories and shared a short video in which he recites the alphabet before introducing the idea behind the page. In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), Salman thanked viewers and said that his YouTube channel named Being The Salman Khan is intended for children.

Salman Khan wrote, "Thank u for watching my YouTube Channel, I understand that the content is not for u yet but u also get it that it's for your little ones."

Explaining the concept behind the content, Salman added, "Let's see how this pans out, thodi si masti ke saath pyaar aur family ke saath education bhi zaruri hai bacchon ke liye. Haina?"

Salman had earlier introduced his channel by saying, "Shuru se shuru karte hain. Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega," hinting that there would be a little bit of everything for viewers.

Salman's YouTube bio keeps things simple. It reads, "Film actor. Artist. Painter. Humanitarian. This is my official channel."

Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, marking his 15th season as the host. On the film front, he will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, earlier titled Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh. Its new release date is yet to be announced after a delay. Salman is also working on filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally's upcoming film SVC63, reportedly titled Monster, which stars Nayanthara and is scheduled to release on Eid 2027.
