Mika Singh questioned Diljit Dosanjh for not promoting his Bollywood films Border 2 and Main Vaapas Aaunga. Mika said, "Why would I be jealous of Diljit? I am actually proud of him." He felt it was odd that Diljit promoted Sardaar Ji 3 with Hania Aamir but ignored these films.

Mika Singh questioned Diljit Dosanjh for not promoting his Bollywood films Border 2 and Main Vaapas Aaunga, pointing out that he promoted Sardaar Ji 3 with Hania Aamir.

Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most popular singers and actors in India. The Punjabi artist has worked in two of the most talked-about films this year, Border 2 and Main Vaapas Aaunga, and now Mika Singh has spoken about how the former chose not to promote the Bollywood films. Mika Singh, in a recent chat, has spoken about how he found Diljit's decision not to promote the films quite odd.

Singh, while speaking to Times Now, shared that he is proud of Diljit Dosanjh for the work that he is doing and said, "Why would I be jealous of Diljit? I am actually proud of him. After Daler paaji, if someone has come wearing a turban and made it as a singer, it is Diljit. And he is doing very good work," Mika said.

Further, he spoke about how he felt odd when Diljit didn't speak about Border 2 and said, "I could be wrong, but I feel that when Border 2 came out, Diljit paaji did not promote it even one per cent. He didn't even thank Sunny paaji one per cent," Mika said.

"I have never seen Diljit say, 'It is a big thing that my film with Sunny Deol is coming.' He never spoke about Border 2. When the film came out, and even afterwards, I didn't see him post about it. And Main Vaapas Aaunga was also released, but he didn't put up any post. He made only one post about his film in which there was a Pakistani artist," he continued and spoke about how Diljit promoted Sardaar Ji 3 with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.

Mika concluded, "I don't understand this. Why don't you promote Bollywood when you work in Bollywood? Then you say, 'I don't need Bollywood,' but you work in Bollywood. I am saying these things to him as a brother. Border 2 is one of the biggest films for our country. It is a film about Hindustan. Why don't you post about it? You can check his Instagram and see if there is even one video where he has promoted Border 2."

Sardaar Ji 3 Controversy

Sardaar Ji 3 was withheld from Indian theatres following backlash over the inclusion of Hania Aamir, a Pakistani actor, in the lead cast. The controversy emerged after the Pahalgam terrorist attacks, which claimed 26 lives, prompting protests from various groups in India. In response, the makers decided not to release the film domestically, sacrificing a potentially massive chunk of its revenue.
