Fans spotted a mysterious silhouette in the Jailer 2 trailer released on October 5, sparking rumours of a Hrithik Roshan cameo. While the makers said nothing official, many viewers are convinced he appears alongside Rajinikanth. One fan wrote, “Hrithik Roshan’s back is in a dark room, found by viewers.”
A fleeting glimpse in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 trailer has sparked speculation that Hrithik Roshan could be among the film’s surprise cameo appearances.
The action-packed trailer of Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Jailer 2 was unveiled by the makers on October 5, giving fans a glimpse into the scale and star power of the much-awaited sequel. Alongside Rajinikanth, the trailer also featured glimpses of Vidya Balan, Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff and Mohanlal’s characters. However, one particular frame has caught the attention of fans online. A brief glimpse of a man seen from behind has led to speculation that Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan could be making a surprise appearance in the film.
Hrithik Roshan Has A Blink-And-Miss Appearance In Jailer 2 Trailer?
The fleeting shot appears for only a moment in the trailer, but eagle-eyed fans were quick to pause and analyse it. Several social media users believe the silhouette of the person shown from behind could be Hrithik Roshan, sparking excitement about a possible cameo.
Fans have taken to X to share the still and discuss the actor’s alleged appearance. One netizen asked fellow viewers if they had noticed the glimpse, while others reacted enthusiastically to the possibility of Hrithik joining the Rajinikanth-led action entertainer.
Fans React To Possible Hrithik Roshan Cameo
The possibility of Hrithik’s appearance has added another layer of intrigue to Jailer 2. “How many of you noticed Hrithik Roshan glimpse from Jailer 2 trailer," asked one X user, while another one commented, “Hrithik Roshan in Jailer 2. Hrithik Roshan’s back is in a dark room, found by viewers in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 trailer."
“Hrithik Roshan’s surprise cameo in Jailer 2 is going to take the audience’s breath away in theatres. Anirudh, bas sambhal lena. @anirudhofficial Can’t wait. While the speculation continues to gain traction, the makers have not officially confirmed whether the mystery glimpse is indeed Hrithik Roshan.
However, rumours of Hrithik’s cameo in Jailer 2 have long been floating on the Internet. In June, Variety India reported that Hrithik Roshan had given his nod to Jailer 2 following weeks of discussions and was set to shoot his portions in Chennai that month. The report stated that his scenes would be mounted on a large scale, with the actor set to feature in a high-octane role.
The reported cameo is particularly significant given Hrithik’s long-standing connection with Rajinikanth. Hrithik made his acting debut as a child artist in Bhagwaan Dada, where he played the foster son of Rajinikanth’s character. He has also spoken over the years about his admiration for the veteran actor and his desire to collaborate with him again.
