Gafaruddin Mewati: A roving folk star with message of brotherhood

Folk artist Gafaruddin Mewati, who got the Padma Shri, uses his music to spread brotherhood. He said, "Hum Hatho Mein Geeta Aur Seene Mein Quran Rakhenge." Gafaruddin, a seventh-generation artist, plays the unique 'bhapang' and keeps old stories alive, teaching many students to pass on this folk art.
