Deepika Padukone’s team denied her role in Brahmastra 2 after reports suggested she would join the sequel. A statement said, "All recent reports of Deepika Padukone being a part of Brahmastra 2 or associated with the project in any capacity are untrue." She appeared briefly in the first film, Brahmastra (2022).
