While discussing about Ikka, the filmmaker revealed what Akshaye Khanna brings to the table as an actor. "He's a phenomenal actor. There's some magic he brings to the table because he's a thinking actor. He knows his scenes. He reads in all languages but (for) a Hindi film, he wants a Hindi dialect devanagari font."
Siddharth continued to praise Akshaye and called him a 'proper Hindi film actor'. "He brings a lot of thought of how he will craft the scene, how he will play the scene, what is his character, where does his character have to go? His years of experience have taught him so much that he adds value to your film by being there," the director shared. Apart from the two lead actors, Ikka featured Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and others in supporting roles.
Siddharth Malhotra on Shaque: Trust No One 2
Moving on, he also shared an update about Shaque 2. The first season, featuring Parineeti and Jennifer in key roles, premiered on September 24 on the same streaming platform.
While not much details about Shaque 2 are known yet, the producer and creator revealed, "We are working on season two actively right now. We exploring creatively story-wise but we don't have the story locked right now. We are actively working with writers trying to find season two right now."
