Announcing the launch on social media, Aamir Khan Productions said the initiative aims to give ordinary people a space to share their stories and showcase their creative expression.
"Presenting 'Once Upon A Mic', an all new open mic experience for poetry, rap, spoken word, storytelling and everything in between," the production house said.
The platform seeks to celebrate diverse voices and provide opportunities to artists whose stories and perspectives often go unheard.
