Venezuela oil deal: NABEP gets 100-year concessions, to pay $200 billion in royalty and taxes in first 25 years

The White House said on Monday that Venezuela granted North American Blue Energy Partners 100-year concessions for 17 oil fields. The company got the rights to these fields and will pay $200 billion in royalty and taxes in the first 25 years. Many expect this deal to boost oil production.
