Subdued rainfall to persist over west-central, south peninsular and northwest India: IMD

The India Meteorological Department said on Wednesday that rainfall will remain subdued over west-central, south peninsular and northwest India for the next week. While these regions see dry weather, heavy rain in Odisha may cause flooding. Meanwhile, hot and humid conditions are expected to persist across several northern states.
