Semicon 2.0 lays foundation for India's long-term semiconductor ambitions: ELCINA
The Union Cabinet approved Semicon 2.0 with a budget of Rs. 1,27,500 crore to boost India’s semiconductor industry. ELCINA said, "ELCINA applauds the government's vision and the scope of Semicon 2.0 for India's semiconductor industry." This phase expands into chip design, equipment, and materials to strengthen the country’s global supply chain position.
