Rupee comes under fresh pressure despite RBI measures, debt inflows

The Indian rupee came under fresh pressure on July 14 as higher crude oil prices and geopolitical tensions weighed on the currency. Anil Kumar Bhansali said, "Demand for the dollar remains strong." Despite RBI measures and debt inflows, the rupee fell as dollar demand from importers continued to stay high.
