Rubber plantation of 1.80 lakh hectares completed in North East under Project INROAD in 5 years

Project INROAD completed 1,79,376 hectares of new natural rubber plantations in North East India between FY 2021-22 and FY 2025-26. Funded by four tyre companies, the initiative helped over 2 lakh beneficiaries. Mohan Kurian said, "Nearly 90% of the ambitious target of 2 lakh hectares has been achieved under Project INROAD."
