Revised export duty on fuel kicks in from June 1; Domestic excise rates on petrol, diesel remain unchanged

New export taxes on petrol, diesel, and jet fuel start June 1. The government said "the revised levy structure includes a Special Additional Excise Duty" of Rs 1.5 on petrol, Rs 13.5 on diesel, and Rs 9.5 on jet fuel per litre. Domestic fuel prices stay the same.
