Piyush Goyal urges Japanese firms to double presence in India by 2030

Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal urged Japanese firms to double their presence in India by 2030. During his four-day visit starting 24 August, he met leaders from major companies to boost ties in semiconductors and clean energy. He said the partnership had expanded beyond traditional trade to economic security.
