PCAOB set to consider draft strategic plan as stakeholders push competing priorities

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board will hold a public meeting on July 20, 2026, to consider a proposed strategic plan for 2026-2030. The board got feedback from 71 comment letters. SEC Chief Accountant Kurt Hohl said, “We’re working very closely with the PCAOB staff to coordinate standard-setting activities.”
