NIIF secures $2 bln commitment from global, local investors

India’s state-backed National Investment and Infrastructure Fund secured $2 billion from global and domestic investors on August 31, 2026. This amount covers over half of its $3.2 billion target. The fund will use this money to support core sectors like energy and transport, while also exploring new electric mobility projects.
