NHC Foods, a leading player in trading, processing and export of agricultural commodities, has proposed to acquire 75 per cent equity interest in Singapore-based DNR Ventures Pte for $5.5 million.

The transaction will provide NHC Foods with a controlling interest in the Singapore-based company, subject to satisfactory due diligence and required regulatory and third party consents.

International network

The proposed transaction marks an important step in NHC Foods' efforts to expand its international business and build a stronger presence across global markets. Through the proposed investment, the company aims to broaden its business opportunities beyond its existing markets and strengthen its platform for future growth. Satyam Shirishchandra Joshi, Managing Director, NHC Foods, said the proposed transaction will be an opportunity to strengthen the foundation for the next phase of growth.
