Natural rubber plantations of 1.80 lakh ha completed in North-East under Project INROAD

Project INROAD completed 1.80 lakh hectares of natural rubber plantations in North-East India. Launched in FY 2021-22, the initiative reached 113 districts over five years. Mohan Kurian said, "The project has also made significant progress in strengthening local nurseries and building grower capacities." It helped many small farmers improve their livelihoods.
