India’s GDP growth accelerates to 7.8% in Q1 FY27

India’s GDP growth accelerated to 7.8 per cent in the first quarter of FY27. Data from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation showed manufacturing and investment demand drove this performance. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Reforms undertaken by the NDA Government, together with an agile management, are bearing results.”
