IFC commits $50 million to Hygenco to promote green hydrogen in India

IFC committed $50 million to Hygenco on Friday to promote green hydrogen in India. This funding, part of a $105 million collective investment, will help develop many green hydrogen projects. Hygenco aims to scale supply, delivering zero-emission molecules to industrial customers. The company said, "Green hydrogen represents the most tangible and effective pathway toward decarbonising many hard-to-abate sectors."
