Once upon a time, Koushik Kharvi used to hide his job as a delivery executive for Swiggy from his friends. Taking to Instagram the Bengaluru-based entrepreneur revealed his journey from being a delivery executive to becoming the owner of not just one, but two successful startups through a video which has gone viral. In the video, Koushik revealed how he joined Swiggy nine years ago as a delivery agent. He said that he didn't mind the hard work but didn't want his friends to see him as just a delivery boy. He once waited at various restaurants, but now he has established one of Bengaluru's most popular seafood joints - Mangalore In Bangalore. He thanked his partner, team and customers for the restaurant's success.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Kharvi earned an engineering degree from ACS College of Engineering in Bengaluru. His professional background is closely connected to the seafood industry, with experience spanning both the restaurant and retail sectors.

Originally from Kundapura in coastal Karnataka and currently based in Bengaluru, Kharvi is the co-founder of Mangalore in Bangalore Seafood Restaurant and the founder of GillFins Seafoods, a raw seafood retail venture that aims to make high-quality seafood more accessible to consumers in Bengaluru.

His expertise covers several areas of the seafood business, including procurement, sourcing, product development, production, retail, food service, branding, marketing and understanding consumer markets. Beyond operating his own ventures, he also provides consultancy services to businesses across the seafood sector.

His consulting work extends to seafood enterprises, fish producers, aquaculture companies, processing units, exporters, retailers, restaurants and seafood brands in India as well as international markets. He is also involved in facilitating seafood sourcing and fulfilling bulk or customised requirements by connecting businesses and consumers with suitable seafood suppliers and opportunities.
