HCLTech acquires Guardian India Operations for $10.5 million

HCLTech said it will acquire Guardian India Operations for $10.5 million in an all-cash deal. The acquisition is expected to close on August 1. Around 2,000 employees will transition to HCLTech. The firm also signed a fresh seven-year technology services agreement to support the insurer’s operations and artificial intelligence capabilities.
