Around seven companies have fixed Thursday as the record date for their respective corporate actions including bonus issues, dividends and rights issue, effectively making today the last day for interested investors to buy shares of the companies to be eligible for the corporate actions. Only those shareholders who hold the shares of these companies in their demat accounts as of Thursday will be eligible, due to SEBI's T+1 settlement norm.

Indraprastha Gas (IGL) has announced a final dividend of Rs 1.5 per share for its shareholders, with Thursday being fixed as the record date. The company has declared 28 dividends since September 2004 and the stock has a dividend yield of 2.29%, according to data on Trendlyne.

Arihant Academy has announced a bonus issue in the ratio of 1:1 with each share carrying a face value of Rs 10 each. Accordingly, the company’s authorized share capital would increase to Rs 1.25 lakh crore. The shares of Arihant Academy have gained 13% in one year and 289% in three years. The company has a market capitalisation of a little over Rs 297 crore.

​Maestros Electronics & Telecommunications Systems announced the plan to issue bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1. The company will issue more than 55 lakh shares with a face value of Rs 10 each as part of the corporate action. Maestros Electronics is mainly associated with medical electronics and instrumentation. The shares of the company have delivered multibagger returns of around 102% in the past six months and 312% in five years. The company has a market capitalisation of a little over Rs 134 crore.

Natco Pharma has fixed Thursday as the record date for its rights issue of two shares for every 21 shares held, with the shares being offered at Rs 750. The company aims to raise more than Rs 1,279 crore through the rights issue that will include up to 1.71 crore shares with a face value of Rs 2 each.

Apart from IGL, R Systems International will pay an interim dividend of Rs 8 per share. Sainik Finance & Industries and Goenka Business & Finance will each pay Rs 0.5 per share.
