Cochin Port unions seek disclosure of rationale behind Vallarpadam ICTT extension

Cochin Port Joint Trade Unions Forum demanded that the Cochin Port Authority make public the rationale behind a two-year extension granted to the ICTT operator. The unions said greater transparency was necessary before extending contractual benefits. They also sought details on cargo throughput, revenue sharing, and pending financial claims.
