Centre appoints JK Sinha, Syed Akbaruddin and Annie George Mathew as Directors on RBI Central Board

The Central government appointed Janmejaya Kumar Sinha, Syed Akbaruddin, and Annie George Mathew as part-time, non-official Directors on the RBI Central Board. These appointments started on August 24 and will last for four years. The government also recently added Somanath Sreedhara Panicker and Anand Gopal Mahindra to the board this week.
