AU Small Finance Bank hikes FCNR(B), NRE FD rates; here's what NRIs need to know

AU Small Finance Bank hiked interest rates on FCNR(B) and NRE fixed deposits to attract more overseas funds. The bank raised its peak FCNR(B) rate to 7.40% and NRE rates to 7.60%. This move follows RBI measures from June 2026, which gave banks more flexibility to offer competitive deposit rates.
