Meta filed a patent for a privacy shield on its smart glasses to stop snooping. This hardware feature uses a physical switch to disable cameras and microphones, ensuring apps cannot bypass privacy settings. Meta also said that any tampering with the LED recording light will completely disable the camera on devices.
