Faraday, an AI agent built by DeepMind alumni, beat OpenAI’s GPT-5.5 in research tasks. Inherent co-founder Edward Hughes said, "We're always guided by that north star of building an AI scientist agent and imbuing our agents with taste." The London team now plans to grow its staff to 25 by year-end.
