India and Pakistan can high-five in hockey. Why can't cricket shake hands?

India and Pakistan hockey players exchanged high-fives before their World Cup match in Amstelveen five days ago. Journalist Shekhar Gupta said, "This image from the ongoing hockey World Cup in Belgium and the Netherlands, the sporting high-5s, think about it." Cricket teams, however, have avoided handshakes since 2025.
