Duleep Trophy starts with a question mark on relevance

The Duleep Trophy started on Sunday at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru amid questions about its relevance. The BCCI kept national selectors out of the team selection process this year. Former selector Devang Gandhi said, “BCCI had given us the responsibility of picking the Duleep Trophy to maintain continuity.”
