'Don't trust Israel': Syria challenges Israeli claims after airstrikes hit military airbase over alleged Turkish presence

Syria rejected Israeli claims that a bombed airbase hosted Turkish forces after airstrikes hit the site. Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani said on August 20, "There was no intention to establish a Turkish base there." Syria said the repairs were only to help its own air force use the base again.
