Commuters stranded as auto drivers strike over Marathi mandate

Mumbai commuters faced trouble on Monday as auto drivers stayed off the roads to protest a new Marathi language mandate. Many drivers, who are from North India, struggle with the rule. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, "We are not trying to make our Hindi-speaking auto-taxi drive-brothers experts in Marathi."
